1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Fun, quirky, and amusing By Walker Long This is a well-crafted story of two former television stars turned supernatural private detectives. It is full of wry humor and quirky wit. The main character, Kanyon, is the familiar self-destructing celebrity train wreck. She's messed up and confused, but clearly has a good heart. We get the idea that she has unrealized potential, and keep reading because we want to see her live up to it. The sexual tension between Kanyon and Daylen is very effective, although a bit of a tease so far. My main complaint is that the point of view often shifts between the two women and it's not always clear who is thinking what. All around, a promising start to what should be an enjoyable series.

It's one of the funniest, most enticing LGBT fiction novels around. Anyone who reads this book will love it! The characters are compelling, well developed and fascinating. KB writes humor so well! I can't wait for the 2nd book in the series to hit stands! Hurry up already! :)
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A modern day superhero tale with a twist By Debs Kanyon and Daylen hero and sidekick until Kanyon's antics have them fired. Lexi is part of the problem as is Kanyon's propensity for getting into trouble. Add into the mix Dodge, Roz, Theo (Thor) and Kanyon's mother and you have a sometimes hilarious tale and a sometimes feeling of wanting to grab both Daylen and Kanyon to give them a shake. Although we should not forget Avery ;)A totally enjoyable story that contains delightful moments of wanting, longing, misunderstandings and an underlying sense of there is more to come.A great read and can't wait to read the next book. Totally worth the read and if you believe in Superheroes, other realms and family inherited powers then this book is for you.
