0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. but the writing was so bad it ruined the experience By rebeccar Interesting perspective, in that the author portrays Jane (Parker) Boleyn far more sympathetically than is usual, but the writing was so bad it ruined the experience. For example, she has Anne (Boleyn) in conversation with contemporaries saying "Ok"...a term that probably came into use in the US in the mid-1800s and was most definitely not used in the mid 1500s. The majority of her writing is stilted, not true to the time, and actually hard to slog through.
