About the Author Born in Singapore Janet Marianne Jackson grew up amongst the dreaming spires of Oxford, travelled the globe and then settled in New Zealand with her husband and son. Her scientific career started in the laboratory and transferred to the written word as a medical/technical writer. Having published several magazine articles, mainly on travel, she has focussed on her passion for writing, culminating in “A Bicycle Built for Two”, her first novel.
