The mixture of innocence andlose incessantly tugged on my heart strings. I had to know what would happen next, and then, of course,I had to know how it all ended. The last scene was the most beautiful scene throughout the whole story,in my opinion, because it rang of nothing but pure love and unabashed hope.The effortless and flowing writing of Laura Marshall will instantly transport you to another time andplace without any effort. You will be introduced to some beautiful but flawed characters whose livesmirror our own, and you will eagerly cheer them on and hope that they will come to see what is staringthem in the face. The two main characters Tara and Andrew stole my heart right away with their similarheartaches and yet one of them was so utterly and completely unaware of that missing part of their life.Persistent Love will wrap you in its tender, open arms and fill you to overflowing with its pure hope andunconditional love. Little Women meets Sense and Sensibility By Cynthia As the title of my review states, this story reminded me a lot of "Little Women" at times and "Sense and Sensibility" at times. It was an easy, lighthearted read that had just enough mystery to keep the reader in suspense. I love castles and keys. Add s stubborn, young, beautiful girl who's mad at God, and you've got yourself a great story. So many stories show the man being the one who doesn't have faith with the girl desperately trying to save him or at least get him saved. Not this one. From the moment I began reading this book, I was hooked. I had to know what really happened and why. If you like clean love stories with faith blended in, give this novella a read. It's perfect for an afternoon on the couch.

By Ginny Persistent Love by Laura Marshall is a captivating historical suspense romance featuring two main characters,Tara and Andrew. Tara witnessed a tragedy at a young age and moved away with her family to a castle of Raven's Cliff where she meets Andrew. They become friends in spite of Tara's fears. I loved how the story gave hope to Tara as Andrew helped to bring her closer to God and Tara grew to depend on God's love and the only answer to life's problems.An engaging, beautifully written story that was a joy to read!
