From the Author I Jenny, take you Ezra is the first book in a series entitled "Mail Order Brides of Firefly, Idaho" Territory. The stories take place in the late 1880's before Idaho became a state. The location is the fictional town of Firefly, named by a man who came from east of the Mississippi and who missed seeing fireflies. The second book of the series, I Lilah, take you Breck, will come out by mid summer, 2015. The third book in the series is planned to come out by the end of 2015. This is the author's first venture into writing fiction, having previously written for newspapers and magazines and also having published essays in various anthology collections over the years.

However, this book introduced me to a number of very likeable characters and an interesting town. I would like to see how Jenny and Ezra live out their lives in Firefly. I did find the romance, but I also found enough action and adventure to make me a definite follower of this author. She made the characters come alive. I'm definitely looking forward to this author's next book(s).
